Business Delegation Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are seeking a Project Management Engineer to join our interdisciplinary design team. This team is responsible for designing location-specific structures for mounting ceiling-suspended operating room equipment such as surgical lights, anesthesia booms, and air circulation systems. This role would be responsible for assisting the lead engineer and design team with project coordination and logistics.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assists Lead Design Engineer with project management such as tracking, task delegation, budget, and setting expectations for final deliverables. Writes project proposals and other forms of technical documentation. Facilitates material acquisition for upcoming installations including assisting with creating parts lists, placing orders, and keeping track of inventory. Consults with engineers and field service technicians to create and improve standards of protocol (SOPs). Collaborates with engineers and management to optimize workflow and processes during active projects.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in management engineering, bachelor's degree in engineering with a specialization in business management, or equivalent with 1+ years of experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Intermediate level experience with 2D and 3D computer aided design (CAD) such as Solidworks and AutoCAD. Business management and/or leadership experience. Experience with technical writing.
Preferred Skills:
Proficient with 2D and 3D CAD software such as Solidworks and AutoCAD. Background in mechanical, structural, or civil engineering. Experience with parts and hardware specifications and acquisition.
