3007330550-2 Apply for this job now Job Description 50026 GRR - Harleyville Inc, part of Heidelberg Materials, is seeking a Process Engineer Intern to support our cement and building materials manufacturing operations. In this role, you'll assist engineers with process data collection, analysis, and optimization to improve safety, quality, and efficiency. You'll participate in plant trials, document procedures, and support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives. Work alongside experienced professionals, gain exposure to advanced production technologies, and develop technical and problem-solving skills in a hands-on industrial environment. Responsibilities Collect and analyze production and process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities Support process optimization projects focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and sustainability Assist with planning, executing, and documenting plant trials and tests Prepare technical reports, charts, and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams on continuous improvement initiatives Help maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions Apply basic engineering principles to troubleshoot process issues under supervision Follow all plant safety policies and participate in safety and environmental programs Required Skills Process data analysis Statistical process control Microsoft Excel Process simulation or modeling Root cause analysis Technical report writing Safety and compliance awareness Manufacturing process fundamentals Data visualization tools Continuous improvement methodologies
