Compensation:
$90,000 to $110,000 per year We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a proven track record of implementing strong processes within a complex manufacturing environment. This role reports to the Engineering Manager and works cross functionally to drive manufacturing improvements and data driven root cause solutions to technical problems. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, organizational skills, and attention to detail, and thrives in an environment where individuals carry significant responsibility. Schedule Full time, day shift, on-site in Jackson, TN. Occasional extended hours and domestic and international travel required. Compensation $90,000 to $110,000 per year. What You'll Do The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for ensuring manufacturing lines meet uptime, availability, and reliability metrics, including OEE, capacity, cycle time, quality, and first pass yield, and will continuously improve these metrics through data driven analysis. This role owns individual workstations, tools, and production lines, presenting periodic updates to management on the health of owned areas, and applies Design for X (DfX) principles to improve legacy products and support new product introduction (NPI). The Manufacturing Engineer designs tooling, fixtures, and automated systems to manufacture products at the lowest cost and shortest cycle time, and programs parts for production on Mazak and Tsugami equipment using SolidCam and MasterCam software. The role also qualifies production processes based on dimensional data, control plans, and PFMEAs, works with suppliers and customers to identify root causes of failures and validate process or design changes, and develops and delivers training to operations and maintenance technicians and production teams on new equipment and processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience with strong G-Code and MasterCam or SolidWorks skills Minimum five years of manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Recent hands-on experience with G-Code and MasterCam Strong understanding of statistics Experience improving quality and cost in a manufacturing environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment Preferred Qualifications ABET-accredited engineering degree Engineering or Business Master's Degree (MBA) Six Sigma Black Belt Experience with Tableau, Minitab, SQL, and SolidWorks or similar CAD software Experience with CNC or manual machining Experience automating production processes Experience with lean manufacturing implementation Experience with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls Experience with assembly processes and/or distribution and logistics Compensation and Benefits $90,000 to $110,000 per year Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k Paid time off To apply, submit your resume for consideration.
