We are seeking a hands-on Senior Quality Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys being actively involved on the production floor. Develop, maintain, and execute quality plans that ensure customer requirements are effectively translated into manufacturing and inspection processes. Perform root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and process performance. Analyze quality metrics, process capability data, and inspection results to identify trends and drive measurable improvements. Support customer complaint investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Review customer specifications and contracts to identify quality requirements and establish appropriate quality controls. Create, implement, and audit inspection plans, testing procedures, acceptance criteria, and quality documentation. Collaborate closely with production teams to resolve manufacturing quality challenges and improve overall process effectiveness. Support internal audits, supplier development activities, and customer quality initiatives. Work directly with customers to ensure expectations are met while building strong professional relationships. Qualifications 7+ years of Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience supporting precision machining or machined metal products strongly preferred. Strong understanding of quality systems, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience working directly with customers on quality-related issues and resolutions. Hands-on approach with a willingness to spend significant time on the manufacturing floor. Experience with CMM inspection processes and advanced measurement techniques is highly desirable. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field is beneficial but not required. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
