Based on Experience We're currently working with a growing manufacturer in the Greater Milwaukee area that is looking to add a Project Engineer to its expanding engineering team. This is an opportunity for an engineer who enjoys balancing technical design work, project management, and cross-functional collaboration while taking ownership of projects from concept through installation. Project Engineer Responsibilities:
Lead complex engineering projects from design through implementation and field support Develop engineering drawings, project documentation, calculations, and technical deliverables Partner with customers, contractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and priorities across multiple active projects Support installation and commissioning activities by providing technical expertise and problem-solving Drive process improvements, documentation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering organization Requirements for
Project Engineer:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 3+ years of engineering design experience 3+ years of project management experience leading technical projects Experience working with custom-engineered products, industrial systems, structural steel, building systems, or related applications Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings AutoCAD experience required; 3D modeling experience is a plus Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
