Production Assembly Technician

at R2S in Camden, Arkansas, United States

Job Description

Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S), a joint venture supporting production of Iron Dome/SkyHunter systems, is seeking a Production Assembly Technician in Camden, Arkansas.

The selected candidate will perform final assembly and checkout of air defense weapon systems, including energetic sections and large-scale missiles. This onsite position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and perform checkout of air defense weapon systems.

Handle warheads, pyrotechnic devices, energetic materials, and completed weapon systems in accordance with established procedures.

Operate pneumatic, manual, and torque tools.

Follow detailed work instructions, safety requirements, and material-handling procedures.

Move hardware and materials within the factory.

Use applicable computer systems and applications.

Support Lean Manufacturing and production operations.

Provide work direction and support to team members as needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Assembly, manufacturing, warehousing, or inventory-control experience.

Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, walker stackers, or similar material-handling equipment.

CDL Class A with hazardous-material endorsement.

DoD Secret or higher clearance.

Hazmat, forklift, or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certifications.

Location:

Camden, Arkansas - relocation support available

Travel:

0-5%, primarily within the U.S.

Schedule:

4/10 work schedule
