This is a hands-on position responsible for turning individual components into the finished motorcycle seats our customers receive. As a Final Production Technician, you'll work with a variety of hand and power tools to assemble motorcycle seats, install covers, trim components, perform final quality inspections, and prepare products for the next stage of production. If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in quality workmanship, and like seeing the finished product at the end of the day, this could be a great fit. Primary Responsibilities Assemble approximately 35-50 motorcycle seats per day while maintaining quality standards. Install and secure seat covers onto motorcycle seat pans using pneumatic staple guns and other hand tools. Assemble and disassemble motorcycle seats and related components. Trim and fit seat foam and cover materials to achieve proper fit and finish. Operate tools and equipment including pneumatic staple guns, rivet guns, hand drills, drill presses, and other production equipment. Cut cover and upholstery materials using established patterns and specifications. Assemble additional products and sub-assemblies as needed. Inspect finished products for fit, finish, appearance, and overall quality before they move to the next stage. Identify and correct quality issues before products leave the department. Maintain proper inventory of materials, hardware, and supplies needed to complete daily production. Perform basic preventive maintenance and care of tools and equipment. Identify equipment problems and communicate repair or maintenance needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with other production departments to help maintain efficient workflow and meet daily production goals. Assist with other production responsibilities as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Comfortable standing and working with your hands throughout the workday. Basic mechanical ability and willingness to learn how to use hand, pneumatic, and power tools. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to follow detailed work instructions and established processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently once trained. Positive attitude and willingness to contribute as part of a team. Previous manufacturing, assembly, upholstery, automotive, powersports, or similar hands-on experience is helpful, but not required. What We Offer Full-time, hourly position with a competitive DOE pay rate.
Schedule:
6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday (4-day work week).
