Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Processing Operator II to join our dynamic potato processing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. Your expertise in food handling, machine operation, and safety protocols will contribute directly to delivering high-quality products to our customers. Responsibilities Operate and monitor food processing machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules Follow manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols consistently throughout your shift Conduct routine sanitation and cleaning of equipment and work areas in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards Handle raw materials and finished products with manual handling techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary Perform quality checks on products, verifying consistency, appearance, and safety standards are maintained Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment promptly to minimize downtime, escalating complex problems to maintenance teams as needed Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including logs for material usage, machine performance, and safety inspections Requirements Prior experience in food production or manufacturing environments, especially with cooking or baking processes Knowledge of sanitation procedures, HACCP principles, GMP standards, and food safety management systems Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and troubleshoot processing machinery effectively Basic math skills for measurements, recipe adjustments, and quality assessments Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including PPE use and emergency procedures Physical capability for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Commitment to regulatory compliance standards related to food handling and legal requirements in manufacturing Join us in creating safe, high-quality food products while advancing your skills in a vibrant team environment. Pay:
$17.50 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 48.0 per week
