Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for working safely, operating a machine, driving a forklift and producing quality product. SHIFT 1st Shift (6AM-2PM)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES

Must adhere to all TSW safety procedures and wear all safety equipment
Learn to set-up the machine correctly and completely (in a timely manner)
Evaluate product straightness, diameter, length and identification of tags that are involved with each machine
Daily preventive maintenance checks on all equipment operated
Meet all quality standards and identify, report any problems
Make sure you prepare your job for the next shift so that there is a smooth transition of work
Must keep your work area neat, clean and safe place to work

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent education required
1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or related area
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Mechanical ability/knowledge is preferred
Willing and able to work overtime as needed
Basic math skills
Computer data entry skills
Ability to read measuring tools (i.

e.: micrometer, tape measure, etc.)
