Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic production team. This role is essential in supporting the manufacturing process within a pharmaceutical or industrial chemical environment, ensuring that production activities adhere to strict regulatory standards and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with manufacturing standard operating procedures, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality output. Responsibilities Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including material handling and packaging machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Follow detailed manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to produce high-quality pharmaceutical or chemical products. Handle industrial chemicals and chemical agents safely, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection protocols. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to identify issues and perform basic troubleshooting or escalate as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including batch records, material usage logs, and quality control reports. Assist with warehouse operations such as materials handling, inventory management, and forklift operation to support seamless production flow. Adhere strictly to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and other regulatory/legal compliance standards in all tasks. Support cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance activities to uphold cleanliness standards within the manufacturing environment. Participate in safety training sessions focused on chemical handling, PPE use, and emergency response procedures. Collaborate with laboratory personnel for quality testing and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements. Experience Prior experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility or industrial chemical production environment is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing principles aimed at process efficiency improvements. Hands-on experience with machinery machining, material handling equipment operation, and packaging systems. Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to quality control testing and documentation. Understanding of regulatory standards such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), CGMP, OSHA safety regulations, and pharmaceutical legal compliance standards. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and data recording. Warehouse experience including forklift operation is advantageous. Proven ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a focus on safety and quality assurance.
