Role:

The Die Mounter on the 3rd shift plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by accurately mounting dies onto machines. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and precision to guarantee that each die is positioned correctly to meet stringent quality standards. The role involves working with specialized equipment and tools to handle delicate materials, contributing directly to the efficiency and reliability of the production line. The Die Mounter will collaborate closely with quality control and production teams to identify and resolve any mounting issues, thereby minimizing defects and downtime. Ultimately, this position supports the company s commitment to delivering superior products by maintaining consistent and precise die mounting operations during overnight hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in semiconductor or electronics assembly. Ability to work the 3rd shift (overnight hours) consistently. Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience specifically with die mounting or semiconductor assembly processes. Basic understanding of quality control principles and documentation. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or work instructions. Certification or training in manufacturing equipment operation or safety.

Responsibilities:

Operate die mounting machinery and tools to accurately place dies.. Inspect dies and substrates for defects or irregularities prior to mounting to ensure quality standards are met. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to maintain optimal functionality and prevent production delays. Document production data and report any issues or deviations to supervisors promptly for corrective action. Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve mounting problems. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment during the 3rd shift. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient workflow and compliance with manufacturing standards.
