Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set Up and Run Equipment:

Prepare machines, load raw materials, and enter program settings before a production run.

Monitor Quality:

Check parts through production process to insure accuracy to blueprints or drawings

Measuring:

using calipers, gauges, rulers, and tape measures to verify product dimensions

Troubleshoot Issues:

Fix minor machine errors, clear jams, and partner with maintenance teams for heavy repairs.

Keep Records:

Log machine data, track output numbers, and update production reports

Train:

train and mentor new machine operators on equipment, quality requirements, and safe operating procedures Maintain clean equipment and work areas in accordance with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles. Perform all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED is required Associate degree in engineering technology, CAD, or manufacturing technology is a plus but not required Minimum of 5 years of experience operating and setting up manufacturing equipment Experience with rotary die-cutting is a plus

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Mechanical Aptitude:

Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and measuring gauges.

Blueprint Reading:

Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

Problem-Solving:

Quick thinking to diagnose machine slowdowns or quality drops. Basic Computer knowledge

Supervisory Responsibilities:
No Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, bend, reach, and preform repetitive tasks during a 10-hour shift Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, dust, noise, fiberglass, and industrial materials

Personal Protective Equipment:

Steel-toed/Safety-toed shoes are required on the production floor Protective equipment is available for nuisance dust

Work Schedule:

1st

Shift:

6:30AM

•5PM, Monday

•Thursday 2nd

Shift:

5:15PM

•3:45AM, Monday-Thursday Overtime may be required based on business need.

Pay:

$25.00

•$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
