1st or 2nd Shift We are currently seeking candidates with strong extrusion process knowledge and experience in extrusion machine set-up, tooling and operation for a Manufacturing/Extrusion Technician position at a rapidly growing company making news in Valley View.
In this position, you will work in a technical and detail-oriented role operating highly engineered film extrusion equipment producing breakthrough films for new technology in a lab/R D environment. Advanced training and certifications are provided to continue career growth and potential. 2

Key Responsibilities:
Support film extrusion operations by performing equipment set-up and operation, tooling or product changeovers, metrology testing and characterization Monitor and adjust computerized systems for batch recipes, film thickness, quality, etc. Recognize and document defects or deviations from specifications, escalating issues to ensure product quality and process integrity Provide recommendations and implementing solutions to resolve equipment and/or process problems in a timely manner Establish and maintain organized workspaces that make cleaning, inspection, and daily operations easier and more efficient Perform all material handling functions pertaining to raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress Demonstrate strong discipline in established procedures and work instructions ensuring safety, quality, and consistency Adapt to evolving team structures, schedules, and responsibilities as operations scale Develop mechanical understanding of the extrusion process to further career growth within the manufacturing team Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 4+ years' experience in manufacturing 1+ years of experience in plastics processing Plastics processing equipment experience such as extrusion, cast or blown film, calendaring, injection molding, etc. Must be very detail-oriented Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office applications: Excel and Word Ability to perform basic math, measurements, and metrology Electrical and/or mechanical aptitude strongly preferred Experience with operating a tow motor and/or material handling equipment, such as a pallet jack Previous experience working an off-shift role Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs when necessary; remain standing/walking for extended periods of time Demonstrated eagerness to learn and apply new skills, concepts, and applications Flexible and capable of adapting to change Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Direct Deposit Weekly Pay More benefits once hired in Employ-Temps Staffing Services provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran or military status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, political beliefs, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #INDCF
