Job Description

Introduction:
Stratotech is a small ISO and AS-certified manufacturing company in Grants Pass that makes specialty pressure relief valves and related products for the commercial and defense industries. We are looking for someone to do assembly, inspection, testing, and other activities on our production floor. The position will be seasonal to meet a surge in demand but could develop into a permanent, full-time position if our current workload continues. The ideal candidate will be friendly, hard-working, and organized. Experience is not required. We can train you to do the job. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
Summary:
6-month seasonal position $18/hour starting pay Schedule to start is 8-5 M-Th with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break. Once training is complete, the schedule will move to 7:30-5:30 M-Th. The business is closed Friday-Sunday Bonuses every 6 months based on duration of employment and the profitability of the business Our building is a well-lit, warehouse-style building that is kept at a comfortable temperature and generally quiet aside from the occasional air compressor and air guns Dress is casual, comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes. Because of the nature of the industry we are in, our culture is professional and detail oriented, but friendly. Once a month, we get out of the office and have lunch or do an activity to relax and have fun.
Experience:
No specific experience is required but is welcome.
Specific Duties:
Inventory management Laser mark parts Perform assembly of product per drawings or instructions Keep product clean throughout the process Pressure test product to ensure that it meets key performance parameters Keep accurate records relating to test reports, work orders, inventory, and inspection reports Communicate ideas to improve efficiency and product quality Perform incoming material inspection Package and ship product Keep an organized workspace Do your part to ensure compliant product is delivered to the customer
Skills & Qualities Required:
Attention to detail Organized Reliable Fine motor skills and good dexterity Ability to troubleshoot and to problem solve Clear communication with management and coworkers that is positive and constructive Ability to multi-task ongoing projects Open to taking direction from management
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods while performing repetitive tasks Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds at a time, when shipping boxes are loaded and need to be moved around. Must have manual dexterity to assemble products
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 34.0 - 38.0 per week
