What You'll Do:
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying mechanical and electrical components used in water handling equipment. This position works with tanks, frames, pumps, filter housings, electrical components, and other system parts to build high-quality equipment that meets company standards and customer needs. The Manufacturing Technician uses blueprints, written instructions, hand tools, power tools, gauges, and testing equipment to complete assembly and repair tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent. Mechanical aptitude and an interest in manufacturing, assembly, production, or equipment repair. Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, written instructions, and job-related documents. Basic computer skills, including email, locating files, and printing Strong attention to detail, practical problem-solving skills, and sound judgment. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, learn new processes, and contribute as part of a team. One to two years of related manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, warehouse, or production experience is preferred. An associate degree in a technical, mechanical, manufacturing, engineering, or related field is preferred.
Physical and Work Environment Expectations:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and position system components and sub-assemblies as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly bend, kneel, reach, lift, carry, handle components, and operate tools. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment. Comfort working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment where temperatures may vary and conditions may occasionally be noisy, dusty, or wet.
