ProAmpac, part of Ampac Holdings, LLC, is seeking a Technician to support our advanced manufacturing and flexible packaging operations. In this role, you will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production and converting equipment to meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets. You will perform mechanical and basic electrical adjustments, conduct routine inspections, and complete accurate production and maintenance records. Technicians collaborate closely with operators, quality, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement, reduce downtime, and support innovative and sustainable packaging solutions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and adjust manufacturing and packaging equipment to meet production schedules and quality standards. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and basic electrical systems to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions. Monitor product quality, making process adjustments and working with quality teams to resolve defects. Follow all safety policies, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements, and report hazards or near misses. Maintain accurate maintenance and production records in CMMS or other systems. Collaborate with operators, engineers, and supervisors to drive continuous improvement and process optimization. Assist with equipment changeovers, line startups, and new product or material trials. Support implementation of lean manufacturing and 5 S practices in the production area. Train or assist in training operators on basic equipment operation and care.
