45001 (H&S) certified company. About the Job Conductive is hiring a full-time Plant Operator to operate and maintain equipment at its Cleveland Utah, CVD Plant. The Plant Operator will perform day-to-day activities to sustain plant up-time and product quality specifications requirements. This position supports Conductive plant manufacturing and compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA). This position is in-person only, at our Cleveland, Utah facility.

Responsibilities:
Operational Control:

Monitor, operate, adjust and document CVD coater(s) and gas synthesis equipment to ensure efficient gas conversions and statistical process control of coated materials, in a safe manner.

Startup and Shutdown Procedures:

Execute proper startup and shutdown procedures for Conductive production systems, maintaining compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

Process Optimization:

Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize Conductive production processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and implementing changes as needed.

Quality Control:

Conduct routine checks and tests to ensure the quality of materials and products meet specified standards. Troubleshoot and address issues affecting product quality promptly.

Equipment Maintenance:

Perform basic maintenance tasks on plant equipment, and work with the Maintenance team on troubleshooting and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to and enforce safety protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of safety among team members.

Recordkeeping:

Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including production data, equipment status, and maintenance activities.

Emergency Response:

Respond effectively to emergency situations, following established protocols to ensure the safety of personnel and the integrity of the facility. Cross training and performing other duties as available.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications, academic pursuits, degrees, or relevant coursework preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude. Strong attention to detail. Experience in operating and maintaining industrial equipment, preferably in the chemical processing field. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in an industrial setting. Ability to self-start and exercise autonomy. Practiced in communicating and teamwork, including writing emails, reporting metrics, 1v1's, and engaging in open discussions and trainings as a team.
