The ideal Technician will be self motivated, eager to learn and have the desire to grow within the company. Experience should include 2 years in a manufacturing environment. Basic Windows Office Word and Excel skills are a definite plus. FDA, ISO and CSA certified manufacturing experience is a plus. Understanding of drawings, basic mechanical inspection and ability to follow written and oral training and instruction is required. The Technician must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on occasions. Assembles and tests sub-assemblies and finished product for shipment to customers utilizing drawings, oral and written instructions using a variety of hand tools or production equipment. Adheres to Quality Assurance procedures that meet FDA, ISO and CSA requirements. Provides support for QA functional testing of finished products. May be asked to examine parts for adherence to product specifications. Participates in physical inventories as requested. Willing to be trained and use a forklift as needed.
