Green Bay Packaging seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support equipment installations and upgrades in a fast-paced production environment. You'll read blueprints and schematics, work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors, and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime. Working on-site with a safety-first, team-focused culture, you'll help deliver reliable, sustainable packaging solutions while developing your technical skills and long-term career. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects Document maintenance activities using maintenance logs or CMMS systems Follow all safety policies, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements Collaborate with production teams to prioritize work and improve equipment reliability Required Skills Electrical troubleshooting PLC basics Mechanical repair Hydraulics and pneumatics Preventive maintenance Welding and fabrication Reading mechanical/electrical schematics Industrial safety procedures HVAC or refrigeration basics CMMS or maintenance documentation
