Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute marine construction projects with precision and efficiency, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and project specifications Operate heavy machinery such as cranes, barges, pile drivers, and dredging equipment to facilitate construction activities Assist in the installation of marine structures including docks, piers, seawalls, and offshore platforms Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and environmental compliance throughout each phase of construction Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to troubleshoot issues promptly and maintain project momentum Prepare detailed reports on daily operations, safety incidents, and project milestones for stakeholder review Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all team members Experience Proven experience in marine or waterfront construction projects, with a solid understanding of marine engineering principles Hands-on experience operating heavy construction equipment used in marine environments Knowledge of safety regulations specific to marine construction sites (such as OSHA standards) Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and project plans accurately Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt quickly to changing site conditions Excellent teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams Certifications such as OSHA 10/30-Hour Maritime Safety Training or equivalent are highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help shape resilient maritime infrastructure!
