Job DescriptionAssist Process Engineers with injection molding process development and optimization activities.



Support process documentation, including setup sheets, work instructions, process parameter records, and engineering standards.



Participate in molding trials, tool qualifications, and process validation activities under appropriate supervision.



Collect, organize, and analyze manufacturing data related to scrap, cycle time, downtime, utilization, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).Assist with root cause investigations of quality concerns using structured problem-solving methods.



Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.



Participate in shop-floor observations, manufacturing audits, 5S activities, and visual management improvements.



Use basic statistical tools to evaluate process performance and identify improvement opportunities.



Support engineering projects involving automation, robotics, tooling, and manufacturing equipment.



Create reports and presentations summarizing data, project findings, progress, and recommendations.



Collaborate professionally with cross-functional teams and communicate project status to the assigned mentor.



Complete a defined internship project and present the results to relevant plant stakeholders at the conclusion of the assignment.



QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.



Completion of relevant engineering coursework or laboratory experience is preferred.



Previous internship, co-op, manufacturing, technical project, or hands-on experience is beneficial but not required.
