Develop Dept specific project strategies, themes, control items (SAP), based on Project A00. Coordinate Dept Build Activities and manage maturation of S,Q,D,M, Equipment, Process and Training though T Stage build events. Mass Production Start-up Planning and Support. Key Accountabilities Review Weld Dept business plan and understand Honda vision for future Ki's and planning/setting targets linking Weld BP and NM schedules/targets. Investigate Impact of New Mfg Technology and Spec. Coordinate and Support Drawing Reviews, Virtual Builds, and Gebas (CRFs). Mentor project team for

Support/Mentor weekend/shutdown Builds, Installs, Checkout requirements Dept Reflection (Event and Mass Production Start up +3mths). Maintain regularly scheduled meetings to review status of SAP with PIC's (Weld project team), Production team and Department manager Monitor progress on key activities (Equipment delivery, operation standard development, Training). Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience required 5+ years of relevant experience, based on education 3D modelling experience (CATIA preferred), previous knowledge with Honda design systems and cost management skills Job Dimensions Decisions Expected Working Conditions Ability to lift 20 lbs and operate vibrating hand tools Travel 3-4 times per year or as business needs require Work weekends and various shifts as needed What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
