Welding Instructor

The Continuing Education and Workforce Development Division at Garrett College is accepting applications for a Welding Instructor.

Are you an experienced welding professional interested in sharing your knowledge and preparing the next generation of skilled workers? Do you have evening availability and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the welding industry? Do you have a few hours a week?

This position offers an opportunity to use your technical expertise and industry experience to provide hands-on instruction and help students develop the skills needed for successful careers in welding.

Previous teaching experience is not required. Garrett College is seeking qualified professionals with strong industry knowledge, practical experience, and a commitment to student success.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of five years of field experience across multiple welding processes.
• A combination of education, training, industry credentials, and professional experience that meets the needs of the program.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to communicate welding concepts and techniques effectively.
• Previous teaching experience is not required.
