We are currently seeking an experienced Weld Engineer for our Harper Woods, MI location. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and improving manufacturing processes with special expertise in engineering.
Responsibilities:
Lead new welding development research Troubleshoot welding issues both internally and with suppliers Develop processes for quotations Develop weld cell designs for efficient manufacturing Develop and specify welding standards and best practices Develop and specify welding equipment and components Improve welding equipment OEE Reduce welding scrap Program management Promote sound welding principles throughout the organization Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
