Experience with CAE preprocessing and postprocessing software such as Altair HyperWorks/HyperMesh, LS-PrePost, or equivalent. Ability to interpret FEA results, assess model validity, and relate analytical predictions to physical product behavior. Understanding of automotive crashworthiness, structural performance, NVH, fatigue, durability, and/or related CAE applications. Effective written and verbal technical communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams. Preferred 1-3 years of relevant automotive or related CAE/FEA experience. Exceptional candidates with relevant academic, internship, or co-op CAE experience may also be considered. Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Experience with nonlinear FEA and/or explicit dynamics; LS-DYNA experience is preferred for crash applications. Experience with polymers, fiber-reinforced composites, adhesives, or multi-material structures.
