  • Woonsocket, RI Plastics Manufacturing Engineer Process Engineer Plastic Injection Molding Validation Medical Device Sterile Clean Room _ .

Support early stage manufacturing (both process and equipment) to meet sample making commitments; improve existing manufacturing processes, equipment, & capabilities; lead continuous improvement activities, new product or process introductions, & cost reduction projects; and similar.

  • Provide problem solving support (both process and equipment) to production operations. Use simple statistical tools and Designed Experiments (DOE) in process problem solving and process improvement.
  • Ensure safety of operators & equipment and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Troubleshoot material, process and equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Assure quality and repeatability of processes and products.
  • Implement and document material, process, and equipment changes.
  • Support new product introductions through equipment upgrades, process validation, documentation, and training.
  • Develop Subject Matter Expert knowledge of materials, processes, and equipment in focused areas of manufacturing and engineering of plastic & glass packaging for injectable medicines.
  • Train operations personnel on equipment and processes.
