Our team in Georgetown, SC is looking for a talented Structure Welder to assist with the assembly and fabrication of structural parts. You will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to safety and quality excellence. If you possess a strong background in welding and meticulous attention to detail, we invite you to apply. Core Duties Analyze technical drawings and blueprints to accurately identify necessary welding specifications. Execute welding operations on aluminum and steel structural components by utilizing stick, TIG, and MIG methods. Verify that finished welds meet all required quality standards and project specifications. Ensure that all welding tools and machinery are kept in optimal operating condition. Work alongside colleagues to help the team achieve project milestones while fostering a secure workplace. Promote a culture of safety by strictly following all established protocols during your welding duties. Engage in ongoing professional development to improve your technical expertise and welding proficiency. Required Background Completion of high school or a GED; vocational education is considered an asset. Demonstrated history of welding, with a focus on structural applications. Comprehensive understanding of standard safety procedures and welding methodologies. Proficiency in interpreting complex technical diagrams and blueprints. Strong analytical abilities and a sharp focus on precision. Capability to function effectively both autonomously and within a collaborative group setting. Possession of professional welding credentials like ASME or AWS is advantageous but not required.
