Job Description
Job DescriptionIMKO Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Robot Weld Operator/Technician for a growing manufacturing operation in Tea, SD. This position combines hands-on welding and fabrication experience with the operation of robotic welding equipment.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate robotic welding equipment
Fit, tack, and prepare steel components for welding
Monitor robotic welding processes and make necessary adjustments
Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
Grind, clean, and repair welds as needed
Troubleshoot welding equipment and production issues
Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Maintain equipment and a clean, organized work area
Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
3- 5 years of welding, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred
Robotic welding experience preferred
Strong welding and fabrication knowledge
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on weld quality
Comfortable working independently and as part of a production team
