As a Welding Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, providing guidance to students, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Welding Test Required:

6G combo (GTAW/SMAW) Test on 4" pipe schedule 80 and a 4G

MIG/FLUX

test ½" plate Precision Welding Academy (PWA) was founded in 2019 by a welder, Scott Raabe, and professional educators with the specific goal of training and placing the best entry-level welders in Houston. PWA is a nationally accredited, Texas Workforce Commission and Veterans Administration approved welding school. The Evening Shift Welding Instructor will typically work Monday through Thursday, 12:30 p.m. through 11 p.m. with a half hour dinner break. www.precisionweldingacademy.

• Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive welding curriculum, including theory and practical components
• Instruct students in various welding techniques, such as MIG/FLUX, TIG, and ARC welding
• Demonstrate welding techniques and safety procedures
• Provide individualized feedback and support to students
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
• Maintain a safe and organized welding environment
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the welding program

• Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of welding experience in a professional setting
• Proven ability to teach and mentor students of varying skill levels
• Strong understanding of welding principles, techniques, and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and best practices
