Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with14offices located throughout Texas, Mexico, and Oklahoma. Responsibilities Measures distances to verify accuracy of dimensions of installations and layouts
Verifies levels, alignment, and elevation of installations
Observes work in progress to determine if procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications
Conducts field checks of materials and equipment
Records quantities of materials received or used during specified periods
Reviews drawings and specifications for constructability
Reviews project materials, documents, submittals, and schedules
Advises project engineer of deficiencies in materials or workmanship and assists in developing solutions
Documents construction progress with photographs and written daily logs
Verifies construction quantities and prepares pay requests Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction engineering/technology preferred but not mandatory with at least 5 years' construction related experience required
Works hours outside of normal business hours as required for specific projects including weekends and occasional nighttime work
Proficient in the use of computers and other relevant hardware and software tools
