Project Engineer - Commercial Construction COR3 Mechanical, LLC | Maitland, FL COR3 Mechanical is a fast growing Central Florida commercial mechanical contractor seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. This position directly supports our Project Management team with project scheduling, progress tracking, procurement, cost monitoring, and subcontractor coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in commercial construction, with significant opportunities for advancement into a Project Manager roles. Key Responsibilities Maintain project schedules, track progress, and coordinate upcoming activities and deadlines. Monitor project costs, purchase orders, material deliveries, and vendor invoices against project commitments. Coordinate subcontractors, track progress, and follow up on outstanding work and documentation. Assist Project Managers with project planning, procurement, change orders, and cost tracking. Coordinate with field supervision, vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teams. Maintain project records, prepare status updates, and ensure timely follow-through on outstanding items. Identify potential scheduling, cost, and coordination issues and assist with resolving them. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, project engineering, project coordination, or a related role preferred. Strong organizational, scheduling, communication, and problem-solving skills. General understanding of construction schedules, procurement, and project costs. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software is a plus. Mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing construction experience is preferred but not required. Construction Management or Engineering degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
