This role offers the opportunity to lead mechanical design and product development initiatives from concept through production while working across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys leading projects, and can balance multiple priorities while driving results. Key Responsibilities Lead mechanical component and system design from concept to production Drive new product development projects and technical decision-making Translate customer and market requirements into engineering solutions Own engineering releases, BOMs, technical documentation, and design reviews Develop designs using PTC Creo and collaborate with suppliers on component validation Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Conduct benchmarking, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional project execution Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 7+ years of product development or mechanical design experience Experience designing products for manufacturing environments Strong project leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Experience within vehicle, transportation, automotive, powersports, heavy equipment, or similar industries Experience with PTC Creo, FEA, DFMEA, APQP, DFM, and structured problem-solving methodologies Knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes (injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion, blow molding) and metal fabrication processes (stamping, welding, die casting, extrusion) Why Join?
