Identify opportunities to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and engineering workflows. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline. Working knowledge of mechanical design principles, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes. Experience using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD for 2D drafting and 3D mechanical design. Ability to interpret technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and engineering specifications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with a team. Preferred Qualifications & Technical Skills Experience with SolidWorks PDM or similar product data management software. Familiarity with ERP systems and engineering bills of materials. Experience with 3D scanning, reverse engineering, or dimensional inspection. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and related inspection tools. Familiarity with mechanical power transmission components, clutches, or power take-off systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Exposure to manufacturing environments, assembly processes, or product testing. Ideal Candidate The successful candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to develop practical engineering solutions. They are comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and understand the importance of balancing design intent with production capabilities.
