Role Overview and Responsibilities Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Design Innovative Power Solutions That Matter Are you passionate about turning complex engineering challenges into real-world products? Join TT Electronics as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and play a key role in developing advanced power conversion products used in demanding industrial, aerospace, defense, and high-reliability applications. In this role, you'll lead mechanical design efforts from concept through production, working alongside electrical engineers, manufacturing teams, quality professionals, and customers to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective solutions What You'll Do Lead the mechanical design and development of power conversion products and assemblies. Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation. Perform thermal, structural, vibration, and tolerance analyses. Support product development activities including prototyping, testing, and qualification. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, manufacturability, quality, and cost objectives are achieved. Participate in customer technical discussions and design reviews. Drive continuous improvement and product optimization initiatives. Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute technical leadership across projects. Qualifications, Skills and Attributes What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline. 8+ years of mechanical design engineering experience. Experience developing products from concept through production. Proficiency with 3D CAD and engineering documentation. Strong knowledge of thermal, structural, and manufacturability design principles. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Experience in power electronics, aerospace, defense, industrial, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Must meet ITAR requirements. Why Join TT Electronics?
