Job Description

Job Overview Massa Products Corporation is a 3rd-generation family business that designs, engineers, and manufactures electroacoustic products. We are a dedicated team of people creating innovative and technical products used in various applications for industry and the Navy. At Massa, you will work on jobs critical to our national security and the submarine industrial base. As a Senior Acoustic Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing new products and sustaining existing production contracts. This challenging position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in developing and sustaining products. You will be responsible for ensuring our Transducers, arrays, and acoustic processing products deliver cutting-edge performance, evaluating make-vs-buy decisions, and continuously improving our design, analysis, and project planning processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and shape the company's future products and capabilities. Specific Job Duties shall include but not be limited to:
  • Design and test electroacoustic transducers
  • Design and test electroacoustic arrays
  • Work with the electrical and software teams to interact with transducers with the design electronics and processors for arrays and transducers.
  • Influence and review the design work of fellow engineers
  • Support transducer and array production lines
Requirements and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience
