About Our Client My Client is a manufacturing company specializing in the design and manufacture of precision components and systems for fluid transfer and control that mainly service the automotive, industrial, and aerospace industries. The company focuses on delivering high-quality, efficient, and reliable solutions to meet the specific needs of its customers. Job Description In this role you'll report directly into the Manufacturing Manager and be responsible for: Designing tooling, gauges, and machine adaptations to support manufacturing operations. Utilizing CAD software to create tooling designs, technical drawings, and engineering documentation. Utilizing CAM software to generate CNC machine code for tooling manufacture. Managing prototype and production tooling projects while maintaining rigorous timelines. Troubleshooting manufacturing processes and implementing corrective actions to improve performance. Overseeing the design and development of tooling solutions from concept through production. Participating in the APQP process to ensure tooling is delivered on time and meets design requirements. Collaborating with production teams to develop and refine new tooling designs. Developing and maintaining tooling standards using lessons learned to improve quality and reduce scrap. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and performing additional related duties as assigned. The Successful Applicant A successful candidate will have: Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Proficiency with CAD, 3D modeling, CAM software, and Microsoft Office applications. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines.
