401(k) Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Dental insurance Vision insurance Job Summary This position reports directly to the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and is responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, and equipment related to manufacturing of Thermoforming machinery. Job Description Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design machinery. Develop and maintain mechanical drawings and bill of materials for all machinery designs. Work with technicians for initial machinery start up. Assist with training and support of customer onsite and/or via remote connection. May be involved in fabrication, operation, application, and installation and/or repair of mechanical products. Operates the equipment in a safe manner and reports hazards associated with the equipment or its operators to the Supervisor. Follows required procedures and uses appropriate method of storing and back up of technical information on company server. Maintains/produces a level of output that will minimize production delays. Cleans and maintains an orderly work area. Communicates effectively with other workers to direct personal workflow. Assist other individuals in area when needed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of Auto Cad and/or Auto Cad Inventor and Microsoft office programs required. Familiarity of mechanical devices. Good communications skills relative to supervisor and other related departments. Requirements 1. Associates Degree and 3- 5 years experience preferred. 2. Must have valid drivers license 3. Must have ability to obtain passport. 4. Must pass a drug screening & physical examination. 5. Travel & Occasional over time This job description describes the general nature and level of work expected of a person assigned to this position.
