Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within customer's expectations Manage timing and specification for testing and validation of new designs Collaborating with Project Managers for proper allocation and tracking of resources Research the market and developing the part with supplier Creating and enhancing products that fill a niche in the market or allow their clients to remain competitive Supporting manufacturing and design activities by developing prototypes for products in development Submitting proposals and designs for evaluation by the project team and management before moving to the next stage Requirements 1-5 years of solid experience in similar roles (Entry level welcome !) Mechanical engineering knowledge Familiarity with CAD and other mechanical design software :
