Job Description

In this role, you'll play a key part in developing and supporting our manufacturing department, working on everything from modern race vehicles to historic restorations. We are looking for a candidate with experience using Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD software. You'll be responsible for creating detailed CAD models and engineering drawings for CNC machining, water/laser cutting, and fabrication, as well as providing innovative engineering solutions for challenges in vehicle design. Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings, including defining and documenting manufacturing specifications. Produce detailed engineering drawings to meet high industry standards. Support vehicle build and production with manufacturing information to aid in the assembly process. Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing teams to ensure timely, accurate production of components Skills required: Proficiency with 3D CAD software (Siemens NX preferred). Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in the motorsports, military, or automotive industries. Prior experience in manufacturing is required. Strong background in design engineering. In-depth knowledge of automotive or motorsport mechanical systems. Proven problem-solving abilities across diverse challenges. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with FEA and CFD software is a plus. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities. Ability to research and select components suited to specific design needs.
