Job Description

Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a growing engineering and manufacturing organization seeking a Project Engineer to support the design and development of mechanical products. This company is known for delivering high-quality, engineered solutions and fostering a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. This role plays a critical part in bringing new products from concept to market while ensuring performance, cost, and quality objectives are met. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, proven project management experience, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. This individual will lead product development initiatives, work closely with internal teams and external partners, and apply analytical problem-solving to drive successful outcomes. Experience with CAD tools, product validation, and manufacturing integration is highly valued.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end product development efforts, managing projects from concept through design, validation, and production integration Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables while proactively identifying risks and ensuring on-time execution Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and commercial teams to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives Apply design for manufacturability principles, conduct testing and validation, and support prototype development and evaluation Analyze performance data, investigate product issues, and implement corrective actions using data-driven methodologies Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and reports while supporting customer and supplier engagement
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of relevant product development experience Demonstrated success managing engineering projects, including product launches delivered on time and within budget Strong knowledge of engineering standards and proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) Experience with design validation, testing, and manufacturing processes, including DFM principles Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities PMP certification or Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) is a plus #accentuate2

$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
