Primary responsibilities will include:
Create mechanical designs using SolidWorks and Creo CAD under the supervision of senior engineers. Apply design for manufacturability and assembly, engineering calculations and material selection. Maintain controlled CAD models, drawings, BOM, Engineering Changes, documentation control, revision control and PDM systems. Ability to work on prototyping concepts which requires basic mechanical tools and skills. Perform basic Quality Control measurements of incoming parts and assemblies. Requirements Minimum AAS degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. BS in mechanical engineering preferred. 1-3+ years experience with mechanical design using SolidWorks and Creo CAD preferred. Strong CAD modeling skills including part modeling, assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings. #ERGxBenefits
