Title:
Mechanical Engineer Shift:
Monday to Friday, no remote work
Salary:
$80,000•$95,000+ dependent on experience, plus profit sharing
Mechanical Engineer Role:
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide engineering design and technical support. This position exists to deliver a full range of technical services and solve complex engineering problems for clients worldwide.
Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
Work within project schedules and deadlines Review and remain familiar with approved design criteria and codes Review project scope to clearly define what deliverables will be Create and review calculations specific for the design Prepare reports outlining design criteria or analysis of equipment Interact and talk with clients to review project status or deliverables Travel to client's site to attend meetings or gather additional information for the project Design layouts for diverse heavy industrial systems including gearing, gearboxes, and piping projects Provide detailed drawings and a complete bill of materials for project execution Support a wide variety of high-complexity consulting projects under engineering supervision
Mechanical Engineer Reporting Relationships:
The candidate reports directly to the VP of Engineering and has no direct reports.
About You:
Possess a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering Have 3 to 5 years of prior experience utilizing mechanical engineering principles Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks 3D modeling software Maintain familiarity and the ability to work with FEA modeling software Show prior experience working within Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Facilities Read and interpret drawings for review and reference Maintain a valid driver license for necessary travel Exhibit a well-rounded engineering capability to execute projects from day one Demonstrate interest in pursuing a Professional Engineer (PE) license under internal mentorship

Stand or sit in a stationary position for extended periods of time Walk around an industrial manufacturing facility with the ability to climb stairs, walk on platforms, or ride in an elevator Travel via car or air to client sites as necessary Operate a company car or rental vehicle for travel Work within various climates with exposure to hot and cold environments
