Job Description Insight Global is seeking a fully remote Sr. Mechanical Engineer for a long term opportunity based out of the Cincinnati, OH area. On the day to day the Sr. Mechanical Engineer will lead the design and development of building mechanical systems with a primary focus on HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical utility systems across all phases of a project lifecycle. This individual will work closely with project managers, architects, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop design concepts, perform engineering calculations, prepare specifications, and produce construction documents in Revit MEP. Responsibilities include coordinating project schedules and budgets, conducting site investigations, ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and industry standards, and supporting quality assurance efforts. The engineer will also provide construction administration support through submittal reviews, RFI responses, shop drawing reviews, and site observations while serving as a technical resource for both clients and internal project teams. Additionally, this role will mentor junior engineers and designers, contribute to value engineering initiatives, and help maintain high-quality mechanical design standards throughout the organization.
