Job Description

Mechanical Project Engineer Location:
South Point, Ohio Experience:
3-5 Years Position Overview We are seeking an Mechanical Project Engineer to support our growing mechanical construction and fabrication operations in South Point, Ohio. This is a hands-on engineering role spanning the full project lifecycle: from estimating to execution. The position is designed for an engineer who wants broad exposure to how industrial mechanical projects are executed. Responsibilities Support front-end estimating, takeoffs, constructability reviews, and technical scope development. Assist with BIM/Navisworks model coordination. Work with shop leadership and Quality to interpret drawings, specifications, codes, and project requirements. Help transition awarded projects from estimating into construction. Provide technical support to project managers, superintendents, and field leadership. Assist with RFIs, material requirements, drawing conflicts, and technical problem-solving. Support process piping, hydronic, utility, HVAC, and other industrial mechanical systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in mechanical construction, process piping, HVAC, fabrication, or plant/project engineering. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, construction drawings, and specifications . General understanding of piping and mechanical systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Pay:
$95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
