Job Description

Senior Mechanical Engineer Allied Systems Company, a distinguished leader in the heavy equipment manufacturing sector, is pleased to announce an opportunity for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a passion for engineering and expertise in designing exceptional heavy equipment across diverse product lines. Responsibilities:
Design new heavy equipment with a focus on multiple product lines, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, project management, and quality assurance, to deliver customized solutions. Provide manufacturing support and troubleshooting throughout the production process. Manage product development projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met. Ensure designs comply with agency standards, such as the American Bureau of Shipping, American Petroleum Institute, and Code of Federal Regulations. Participate in internal quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the design department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required. 10+ years of relevant experience in design engineering or a suitable combination of education and experience. Expertise in hydraulic systems, mobile equipment drivetrains, electrical/control systems, and/or structural design. Proficiency with 3D modeling and engineering simulation tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. MECOP program experience a plus.
