Description Senior Engineer in Downingtown, PA. Must have Bachelor's in Automation Engineering Technology.
Wage:
$77,168.00/year
Duties:
- Design and develop custom electro-mechanical machinery and equipment for fluid fill and process testing applications, including system layout, component selection, and performance specifications.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and associated automation systems to ensure proper machine operation, integration, and control functionality.
- Prepare and interpret detailed electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings using related engineering software.
- Manage engineering projects from concept through completion, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical support to customers by diagnosing equipment issues, recommending solutions, and ensuring optimal system performance.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance analysis to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including manufacturing, quality, and engineering staff, to improve product functionality and production processes.
