Prior experience working in shops and labs, showing comfort in continuing to work in those hands-on environments.

Key Tools:

Experience with 3D CAD tools, specifically Uni Graphics NX. Core Responsibilities and Scope Highly hands-on role supporting the shop floor and labs rather than being desk-bound. Act as the "eyes and the legs" on-site for engineers located in Erie, Brazil, and India. Support daily shop operations and address issues as they arise. Assist the lab with ongoing validation processes. Work with senior engineers to support the completion of tests. Provide engineering design support, which includes handling engineering change requests, reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs), releasing drawings, reviewing drawings with suppliers to ensure manufacturability, and opening CAD models. Collaborate closely with design engineers, manufacturing technicians, test engineers, and sourcing teams.
