Job Description
Summary:
First Cut Design & Fabrication is seeking a Natural Gas Design Engineer to join our team. We specialize in turnkey solutions for the natural gas transmission and distribution - from design, fabrication and installation. This is an in-person position located at our facility in Richburg, SC and will report directly to the Senior Engineer (PE). The design engineer will provide high-quality mechanical design and drawing sets for the fabrications, construction, and installation of natural gas piping facilities.
Additional Responsibilities include:
Provide AutoCad P&ID, ISOs, and Two-Line Drawings for fabrication and installation projects Learn and develop a feel for Engineering calculations to ensure design criteria and compliance requirements are satisfied Learn how to perform pipe sizing, hydraulic analysis, hydrostatic test design and equipment specification Size and select appropriate equipment to meet project parameters. Collaborate with FCDF team members on contract bid preparation. Communicate with customers to obtain scope of projects and participate in design reviews. Adapt to fast-paced project schedules with ability to prioritize time and efficiently complete projects on schedule. Independently maintain project schedules and provide timely updates on project milestones.
Experience/Qualification Requirements:
Must have: BS in Engineering 1-2 years relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or related utility industry Competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Demonstrated experience in
AutoCAD Working Conditions:
Location is in-person in Richburg SC. Potential for remote work based on applicant/experience.

Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
