Mechanical Design Engineer Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with a local valve manufacturer that is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their growing team. The Mechanical Designer will be instrumental in creating and verifying designs from concept to production. The ideal Mechanical Designer candidate is highly proficient in CAD, meticulous, has strong communication skills, and is capable of managing multiple projects while seamlessly collaborating with various teams to produce precise and accurate engineering drawings. The Mechanical Designer position is a full-time, direct-hire position in Santa Fe, TX.

Mechanical Design Engineer Job Responsibilities:

Design New & Modify Legacy API Valves Produce 3D Solid Models, 2D Layouts & General Assembly Drawings Create Bill of Materials (BOM) Administer /Issue ECR/ECN's Collaborate With Other Department Personnel, Within & Outside the Engineering Department Consider the Implications of Product Cost in

Design Follow All Safety & PPE Guidelines Mechanical Design Engineer Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required 2+ Year's Technical Degree or Other Relevant Training is Required At Least 2 Years of Experience with Industrial Equipment &/or Valve Related Products Must be Proficient in Solid Modeling

•SolidWorks, AutoCAD Inventor or Fusion 360 Working Knowledge of

ASME Y14

Drafting Standards is Required Working Knowledge of

API 6A & 6D

is Highly Preferred Must be
