$72.50/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Shift:
1st shift, start time variable between 5:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
Qualifying Questions:
Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?
Summary:
Evaluates and selects hardware and software for automated control systems in production equipment. Implements and validates upgraded hardware and software into automated control systems. Develops, tests, and evaluates software and hardware changes for production equipment. Designs, develops, and supports equipment network technology and cybersecurity. Develops and debugs software as required for automated production equipment. Develops and releases bid and purchase specifications for equipment needs from suppliers. Verifies equipment specifications including materials and software included in final designs meet requirements. Troubleshoots current production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability on automated equipment. Analyzes data to perform root cause analysis of systemic production issues. Manages projects involving the acquisition or modification of production equipment.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience(e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the
USA, ABET
accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3 or more years of related engineering work experience.
Preferred:
3 or more years of experience working in a production environment.
Preferred:
3 or more years of experience in electrical and electronic systems.
Preferred:
Programming experience with C#, Java, Visual Basic, or similar.
Preferred:
PLC programming experience with Siemens, Rockwell, Fanuc, or similar.
Preferred:
Experience in Automated Test Equipment with PXI, PCI, VXI, IEEE-488, RS-485, or Can bus.
Preferred:
Experience with computer aided design (CAD) with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or Catia.
Preferred:
Experience administering Windows operating system.
